A children’s book »Habits of Happy Children« is a collection of ways how children perceive the morally-ethical
values which we encourage in the Galjevica Kindergarten within the daily program of all 23 kindergarten
groups and which are also the topic of the project »Ethics and Values in kindergarten« as well as of
encouraging intergenerational cooperation. The program is based on the conviction that one of the most
important missions of the educational field is ensuring ethical and with fundamental values synchronised
behaviour in schools and in kindergartens.
We are attaining the following objectives through the program »Ethics and Values«:
•
Strengthening the competencies of kindergarten teachers and school teachers for the integration of ethics
and values into the educational work.
•
Raising awareness and motivating children for making decisions and behaving in a manner which is based
on ethics, values, and knowledge.
•
Strengthening the stable society which is based on ethics, values, and knowledge.
With implementing a variety of activities we daily develop the following fields of interest in a playful manner:
culture, life, nature and health, concern for a fellow human being, knowledge and wisdom, universalism,
integrity, tradition, humanity, work and creativity, righteousness.
